An October 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment outlined a 12,500 tpd open pit operation over a 17-year mine life, generating an after-tax NPV8% of $505M, IRR of 27.2%, and a 2.3-year payback period ($4.35/lb copper price, $3,000/oz gold price, $30/oz silver price).
The Opemiska Project, one of Canada's highest grade open pitable copper deposits, spans 21,333 hectares in Quebec's Chapais-Chibougamau region, with strong infrastructure and nearby access to the Horne Smelter. A June 2025 resource update reported a pit constrained resource of 62.7 million tonnes at 1.04% CuEq (Indicated) and 78.4 million tonnes at 0.41% CuEq (Inferred). The new resource contains a significantly lower strip ratio as a result of incorporating lower grade stockwork and drilling at the Saddle Zone. What was previously considered waste is now resource.

XXIX acquired the Springer and Perry properties from Ex-In, who acquired the properties in 1993 and digitized the abundance of data from Falconbridge operations. Falconbridge, between 1953 and 1991, previously mined both the Springer and Perry mines. Together, they produced 23 million tonnes grading 2.4% copper and 0.3 g/t gold.
World-class jurisdiction in Chapais-Chibougamau, Quebec. Quebec offers favourable flow through tax incentives, straightforward permitting and approvals processing, and Quebec’s “Plan Nord” mandated to mining to develop natural resource extraction. The Property is easily accessible via gravel roads, logging roads and ATV trails connected to Chapais-Chibougamau. The region is served by a regional airport, located between Chibougamau and Chapais and two other airports located in Val-d’Or and Rouyn-Noranda, offering regular flights to Montréal, Toronto and the northeastern Canada (Nunavik and Nunavut). Local infrastructure is excellent with grid power at site. In Chapais-Chibougamau, railway access is prevalent with all required infrastructure to transport equipment, supplies and ore to and from local projects.
In the Chapais-Chibougamau district, the geology is composed of late Archean volcanic and sedimentary rocks and economic mineralization consists of syn-volcanic VMS types deposits, syn-magmatic Fe-Ti-V deposits and porphyry environments and syn-deformational copper-gold vein systems associated with structures related to the main deformational event.
